Just Simply... Cuisine internships offer rewarding learning experiences in an established and celebrated Washington DC cooking school. They are designed for those who are passionate about good food and interested in expanding their cooking knowledge, skills and expertise.
Internships are seasonal every fall, winter and spring with flexible hours based on Just Simply... Cuisine’s changing class schedule. Evening and weekend hours are required.
Internships are un-paid but include perks such as cooking classes and menu tastings free of charge. Duties include cooking class responsibilities and short-term projects in Just Simply... Cuisine’s teaching kitchen. Interns provide support in a wide range of daily tasks including class prep and clean up as well as photo and blog entries of class activities and online communication with clientele.
We are seeking energetic, detail-oriented individuals with a basic knowledge of seasonal foods, cooking from-scratch, life in the kitchen and a vibrant appreciation for REAL food. Previous cooking experience is a plus.
